Final Presentation - Evaluation Criteria

1. Slide Design and Readability

Text size is appropriate and easy to read.

•    No ambiguous or low-contrast color combinations are used.

•    In-text citations are used when necessary.

•    Slides summarize only key points rather than full sentences or long paragraphs.

Speak with a clear voice and maintain eye contact.

2. Time Management

•    Presenters must strictly follow the assigned time limit (5-6 minutes). A 2% deduction will be applied for every 30 seconds exceeded or fallen short . (5 points)

3. Content Quality

A. Title & Name

Please create a title page.

B. Introduction (Brief Literature Review)

l The research question, hypothesis, null hypothesis are clear, academically meaningful, and not something that can be answered easily with a simple search.

C. Method

l  Demographic information relevant to the study (e.g., gender, age group, region) is appropriately described.

l  State how many participants were involved (At least 20 participants should be involved)

l  Describe how you collected the data (web platform, paper-based).

D. Results (In the Final Presentation, please focus primarily on explaining whether your hypothesis was supported or not. Using supplementary data is not mandatory for this presentation.)

l Include your cross-tabulation table (Expected frequency and observed frequency)

l Report the chi-square test:

l Degree of Freedom = 1

l Chi-square value

l p-value

l Add one or two sentences explaining the meaning of the result: e.g., “The difference was not statistically significant (p > .05)”

l Show the variable direction. (In order to show variable directions, calculate the formula)

E. Discussion

•       Clearly state whether your null hypothesis and research hypothesis are supported or not.

Explain what the results mean

•       Discuss why the results appeared (possible reasons or background factors)

•       Describe the limitations of your study

•       Support your discussion with reliable sources.

In the Discussion section, please focus primarily on analysing whether and why your hypothesis was supported or not here. However, since each presenter is limited to 5–6 minutes, it is not necessary to use supplementary data unless you feel it is helpful and manageable within the time limit. Please remember that you will be expected to include them (the supplementary data analysis) in the final paper.

4.  Reference List

•    APA style
