1.  Correct Table Construction (4 points)

· Data are correctly summarized in a 2×2 cross-tabulation table.

2.Expected Frequency Calculation(2 points)

· Expected frequencies are correctly calculated for all four cells using the correct formula.

3.  Chi-square Calculation(2 points)

· Chi-square value is correctly calculated using all four cells with the proper formula.

4.Degrees of Freedom &p-value Interpretation (2 points)

· df is correctly identified (df =1), and the p-value interpretation is accurate.

5.Result Presentation (2 points)

· The final statistical result statement is clear and follows an academic format

(e.g.,“The difference was not statistically significant (p>.05).”).

6.Use of Academic Language (3 points)

●  The writing uses vocabulary and expressions that are appropriate for academic writing (formal,objective,and precise).
